Sunidhi Chauhan is set to appear on Amitabh Bachchan‘s popular quiz show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 18’, and the latest promo has fans buzzing. In it, the singer has made an endearing confession about having a crush on the veteran actor, leaving him visibly amused.

The promo, shared on SonyLIV’s official Instagram handle, featured Sunidhi Chauhan expressing her long-standing admiration for Amitabh Bachchan. She can be heard saying, “We have seen you in so many different avatars. You are Santa Claus to me. You were my first crush.”The megastar quickly interjected with a witty response, “Aapko humpe crush tha, yeh ab bata rahi hain aap, tab nahi bataya (You had a crush on me? You’re telling me this now—you didn’t tell me back then).” His reply left Sunidhi smiling and blushing on camera.

Adding a musical touch to the episode, Sunidhi Chauhan showcased her singing talent on the hot seat, performing ‘Yeh Mera Dil’ from the 2006 film ‘Don’. Interestingly, the same song featured in Amitabh Bachchan’s original ‘Don’ and was sung by Asha Bhosle. Big B appeared thoroughly mesmerised by the singer’s rendition and applauded enthusiastically.

Amitabh continues to host ‘KBC 18’ and will next appear in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ sequel, alongside Prabhas and Kamal Haasan. The film is currently in production, following the massive success of its predecessor, which crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide.
