Rashmika Mandanna attended the trailer release event of his brother-in-law Anand Deverakonda’s next film ‘Epic – First Semester’. While speaking at the event, the actress called him a “green forest” and said she would always support whatever he wants to do in life.

Rashmika Mandanna at the stage spoke about Anand Deverakonda and praised him for the way he has been handling his career. The host also asked the ‘Girlfriend’ actress whether she would describe Anand as a green or red flag. “He’s a green forest, I don’t even have to think about it. I think he’s doing really well without my advice. I will stand in support of whatever he wants in life,” she said.

On the other hand, Anand Deverakonda also spoke warmly about Rashmika Mandanna during the event. He recalled how audiences had called her “vadinamma” during the promotions of ‘Baby’ and said he was now saying it with pride.Anand said, “I couldn’t say anything when the audience kept screaming ‘vadinamma’ back then (during Baby release). Today, with full pride, vadinamma,” while gesturing towards Rashmika.He then spoke about how Rashmika checks on him and supports him. Anand said, “I’m not one to talk much, even at home. She comes to me and asks, are you okay? Is everything okay?”He also revealed that he has been travelling to Guntur, Vizag and Rajahmundry for college visits and promotions. Anand said Rashmika watched one of his interviews and messaged him, telling him that he was doing well and that she was proud of him.

I came here after shooting with him for the Ranabaali song Endhayya Saami,” she said.Talking about ‘Epic – First Semester’, the film is helmed by debutant director Aditya Haasan and stars Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Sivaji in lead roles.It is announced to release on September 11, 2026.
