TMZ reported that the comedian, who recently attempted to end his life, has been discharged from the hospital where he was being treated right after his attempt. The star’s publicist, Jami Schlicher, confirmed the news to NBC News, sharing that he is now back home with his family members and is on his road to recovery.The 61-year-old had been admitted since his attempt on September 18. A statement from one of his representatives shared: “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers, and respectfully ask for privacy.” No other news or updates have been shared about the comedian as of right now. Earlier, TMZ reported that police officers had been seen at Top’s residence, whose real name is Scott Thompson. The police came there following his attempt and were there in front of his home for a couple of hours.Carrot Top was slated to perform at the Luxor on September 18; however, it stands cancelled as of now, with no other information about whether or not the comedian will be returning/.
