Biswas revealed that many people assume she is as “easy” as Zarina in real life, a perception that leaves her with mixed feelings. Satiating because I essayed it so well that people think I’m actually easy and I can be bought for a night. Frustrating, exactly for the same reason. What a paradox!”.

The actress is now gearing up for her return in ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ and could not be more excited about it. Interestingly, her journey with the film did not start on the most promising note. “Initially, this part seemed a bit of a touch and go. Only two scenes and a Holi dance number was offered to me, but I had worked with Gurmmeet [Singh, director] before and we shared a similar passion for the craft, so I said yes. The rest is history,” she says. Although she is being careful not to reveal too much about the film, she has given fans a tiny yet exciting peek into what to expect from Zarina this time around. “She was a survivor — strong, ambitious, who was both judged and envied. Zarina is grey. All I can reveal is that she has many layers that will be discovered,” she hints, leaving audiences curious and wanting more.

Anangsha also praised her co-star Rasika Dugal for her role as Beena in the franchise. She said that watching Rasika play Beena is always a joy and a treat.
