‘Drishyam The Conclusion’, directed by Abhishek Pathak, ranks among the most eagerly awaited films of the year, featuring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. Appearing on a panel at FICCI Frames 2026 in Mumbai, Ajay talked about the film and shared that he caught a screening on Tuesday, adding that it tops ‘Drishyam 2’.

Discussing the film, Ajay was optimistic about how it has turned out. “The way the script has shaped up and the film has shaped up, I think we should put a stop right now. I saw the film yesterday (Tuesday), and my personal opinion is that it beats 2. So, fingers crossed!”, he said.
Ajay Devgn on showing ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’ to Mohanlal
The first two ‘Drishyam’ films were Hindi remakes of the Malayalam originals of the same name, which starred Mohanlal in the lead. ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’, however, is an original story rather than a remake of the Malayalam ‘Drishyam 3’. At the panel, Ajay shared that he had hoped to screen the film for Mohanlal, but the Malayalam star is away on holiday. He said, “I called up Lal sir because I wanted him to see the film. This time we have diverted completely. For me I thought a kind of an approval from him would be nice, so I wanted him to see the film. He is on a holiday. He was very sweet, then we kept interacting. So, I think he is going to watch the film over there.”

Set for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026, ‘Drishyam The Conclusion’ looks poised for a huge box office opening. According to Sacnilk, advance bookings have already pushed its gross past Rs. 25 crore.
