A 26-year-old man seeking infertility treatment at RG Hospitals in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden was diagnosed with Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome (PMDS), a rare congenital condition in which uterus and fallopian-tube-like structures persist despite a 46,XY chromosome pattern. Tests showed azoospermia and undescended testes, while MRI and laparoscopic exploration confirmed a small underdeveloped uterus and Müllerian structures along with severely damaged, atrophied testes inside the abdomen.
