'Illiterate criminal': Prashant Kishor hits back at Bihar CM for calling him 'bechara'

NEW DELHI: Jan Suraaj founder and Bankipur MLA Prashant Kishor hit back at Bihar chief minister Samrat Choudhary for calling him “bechara”, saying he was indeed a “bechara” as he had no option but to fight to rid Bihar of an “illiterate criminal like him.Speaking to reporters in Saharsa, PK said that nobody had told Choudhary the literal meaning of the word “bechara”.“A ‘bechara’ is someone who has no options. We have no option but to take up our resolve to improve Bihar,” Kishor said.“I cannot leave Bihar in the hands of an ‘illiterate criminal’ like Samrat Choudhary. So, I am indeed a ‘bechara’ from that aspect,” he added.Kishor’s remarks came days after Choudhary responded to his repeated use of adjectives such as “anpadh” (uneducated) and “apradhi” (criminal) for the Bihar chief minister.During the campaign for the Bankipur bypoll, held after BJP national president Nitin Nabin vacated the seat, Kishor had urged voters to support him, saying his victory “would make Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah take note of the popular discontent with Samrat Choudhary”.
