Ahsaas Channa, who has impressed audiences with her performances in ‘Girls Hostel’, ‘Kota Factory’ and ‘Hostel Daze’, has now joined the third season of the popular web series ‘Asur’. She joins an impressive ensemble that includes Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Vishesh Bansal, and Shweta Basu Prasad.
Ahsaas Channa on being “beyond thrilled” to join the show
Shooting for the third season is already underway. Production is expected to continue until December this year, with the makers planning a mid-2027 release on JioHotstar. Speaking to Variety India about her excitement, Ahsaas said, “I am beyond thrilled to join ‘Asur 3,’ especially after being one of the biggest fans of the show. It feels surreal to have this opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented actors, including Arshad Warsi sir, Barun Sobti and Ridhi Dogra. Amongst everything else, I promise that ‘Asur 3’ will take the thrill and intensity several notches higher”.
Ahsaas Channa’s new season gets a fresh directorial team
Oni Sen, who directed the first two seasons of ‘Asur’, is currently basking in the success of his latest Netflix series ‘Operation Safed Sagar’. Filmmaker Gaurav Shukla is taking over the director’s chair for the new season. He previously wrote both earlier seasons and worked on projects like ‘Angrezi Medium’, ‘The Girl on the Train’ and ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’. Gaurav will also produce the upcoming season, co-directing alongside well-known ad filmmaker Shwetabh Varma.

As for Ahsaas Channa, she was most recently seen in Netflix’s ‘Greater Kalesh’, alongside Supriya Shukla, Poojan Chhabra, Happy Ranajit, Aditya Pandey and Keshav Mehta, among others.
