While their characters are set to face off in a fierce combat scene in ‘Ramayana‘, Vivek Oberoi and Yash were all cheery and jovial as they came together on the sets of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.

A new behind-the-scenes glimpse from the highly anticipated mythological epic shows Oberoi and Yash bonding on the sets, just as they geared up to engage in a major combat sequence in the film. The BTS video that has been doing the rounds on social media, sees Oberoi arriving on the sets and warmly greeting Yash and director Tiwari. The trio are then seen spending time together on the sets before the two actors get down to work.Surrounded by blue screens, the two can be seen reading their lines and rehearsing their dialogues for the sequence. Under the direction of director Tiwari, Yash even grips Vivek’s wrist, presumably while discussing an intense scene.
Yash and Vivek Oberoi set for an epic clash
In ‘Ramayana’, Yash plays the powerful demon king Ravana, while Vivek Oberoi portrays Vidyutjihva, the demon prince and husband of Shurpanakha.The trailer has already teased the epic combat scene that features the two picking up large blades with Ravana bare-chested while Vidyutjihva in heavy body armour. In the trailer the two are seen battling it out in a ring while surrounded by people, believed to be of the Kalakeya demon clan.
‘Ramayana’ release date
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, alongside a large ensemble cast. The film is being mounted as a two-part epic, with extensive visual effects being used to bring its mythological world and its creatures to life.The film, that will release as a two-part saga, will hit international screens on November 6 and will release in India on November 8, on the occasion of Diwali.
