The latest buzz suggests that Aayush Sharma, who is married to Salman Khan‘s sister, has now been roped in for a pivotal role in the supernatural thriller. With Junaid Khan and Nargis Fakhri also part of the lineup, the film’s lead cast is reportedly locked and ready to go.

According to Variety India, Aayush will be seen romancing Tamannaah in the film. The project is being helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the filmmaker behind ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’, with Junaid and Nargis also playing key parts. If reports are to be believed, Tamannaah will have romantic tracks with both Aayush and Junaid, while Nargis takes on the role of a police officer.

‘Ragini 3’ is being described as a high-concept supernatural thriller with a “date-night horror” feel, seamlessly blending suspense, humour, and scares into one package. The film is currently in pre-production and is expected to begin shooting in July 2026. The project had faced an unexpected setback when its original director, Sahir Raza, stepped away owing to a scheduling clash with a Netflix project. However, with Shashanka Ghosh stepping in to take over the helm, the film is firmly back on track, with the makers eyeing a theatrical release later this year.
